Robert Rudnick, University of Mannheim, Business School graduate, is Co-Founder and CEO of Coffee Circle GmbH based in Berlin. Coffee Circle aims to modernize and change the coffee trade, through its personal sourcing of coffees from smallholder growers in Ethiopia, roasting them in Berlin and selling them through its website coffeecircle.com to mostly private, but also corporate customers. Top priority is placed on excellent product quality, with Coffee Circle deciding to contribute several times the world market price of its supplies. The company thereby preserves traditional smallholding structures in growing and harvesting coffee, which in turn determines the exceptional coffee quality.
