Hamid Bouchikhi is a Professor of Management and Entrepreneurship at ESSEC Business School. In addition to a business administration degree, Bouchikhi holds a Master of Advanced Studies and a doctoral degree in Scientific Methods of Management from the Université Paris IX-Dauphine. His research interests focus on entrepreneurship, organizational identity, and managerial innovation. He has authored numerous publications including books, articles, and working papers and serves on the editorial board of Gérer et Comprendre, International Management, and Revue de l’entrepreneuriat.
Bouchikhi is a member of the Academy of Management and the Strategic Management Society. At the beginning of 2012, he was elected as chairman of ESSEC’s management department and continues to serve as the academic director of ESSEC Ventures which he founded in 2000.
Professor Bouchikhi is leading an ESSEC faculty initiative on Business and Society and is the co-chair of the First International Workshop on “The Role of Business in Society and the Pusruit of the Common Good”.
